TruStile Doors
Trim/Molding Dimensions
I was contacted by someone who was interested in the dimensions of the trim I have been recreating as I remodel the rooms in my bungalow.

You can view the dimensions and see if it might help you in your own remodel.

TruStile Doors
TruStile Doors
TruStile MDF doors have 'weight' to them—unlike the hollow core doors you find on the market—and they take paint beautifully. I ordered and installed 5-panel doors, style #TS5000. They are almost an exact match to the original doors in my home.

Milgard Windows
Milgard Windows
I installed Milgard vinyl sliders in the master bedroom and the guest/TV room. Two casements and a picture window went into the living room. Ok—so they aren't wood windows—but the 'no paint' and easy care outweighed the cost of wood windows for my home.

Owens Corning Insulation
Owens Corning Foamular® Rigid Foam Insulation
The exterior walls of my home are solid brick with a skim coat of plaster. I wanted to provide a thermal break and rather than use 2x4 studs and fiberglass insulation—that would have made the rooms even smaller—I installed rigid foam insulation with firring strips and a 4-mil vapor barrier. You can see this application in the living room and also the bedroom.
